We had such a great 4th this year. Totally low-key with my dad and great friends. I should probably reference the fact that the party started on Friday night. We went on a spur-of-the-moment date with the Jackman's. So fun. Then they came over on Saturday and we ate, watched Michael Jackson vids, roasted s'mores over the fire pit, then watched fireworks. All of this was especially perfect because my dad was still here!
